Overcoming the Invisible Barrier of Bias

Our keynote speaker, Julie Winterich-Knox, Associate Professor of Sociology and Women Studies from Guilford College will lead an interactive discussion on current gender based trends, the biases they can lead to in terms of decision making and the direct linkage within the corporate culture so attendees can leverage this insight into their every day business-decision making process. Dr. Winterich earned her undergraduate degree in Philosophy at the University of Miami, Ohio, and received both her Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. She teaches various courses on gender at introductory and upper levels at Guildford College.
