2018-2019 Women in Parking Leadership Board Announced

HOUSTON, TX | January 14, 2018 – The Women in Parking (WIP) Association recently announced the roster for elected members to the 2018-2019 WIP Leadership Board. The eight new board members joining the new board term come from a variety of sectors within the parking industry, some of which include university, airport, operator and even recruiting.

“As Women In Parking continues to grow, we encourage more diversity within our leadership board,” comments Marcy Sparrow, Chairperson of Women In Parking. “I look forward to strengthening our association with the wealth of knowledge and experience brought by these leaders.”

The 2018-2019 WIP Leadership Board will consist of the following members:

Leadership board members serve a two year term elected by the general WIP membership. Qualifications for members to be nominated include active participation in the association as well as notable contributions to the parking industry.

Women In Parking was founded in 2011 to serve as the premier association dedicated to promoting the advancement and achievement of female parking professionals by providing networking, leadership, and career outreach opportunities to its members. With a membership of over 200 professionals, both females and males, WIP offers resources that all organizations within the industry can access to improve and capitalize on a gender balanced workforce within their respective organizations. WIP will be holding its fourth annual conference on March 25-26, 2018 in Chicago, IL.
