Karen has over 35 years of experience in the parking industry working for several parking equipment manufacturers in many different roles. Starting out in the engineering department of Cincinnati Time Recorder, Karen held positions in component/product design and product documentation as well as Marketing and Advertising. After the creation of Amano Cincinnati, Karen developed and managed the Technical Documentation department based out of New Jersey. With SKIDATA, Inc. since its founding in the year 2000, she has had responsibilities ranging in Product Management, Marketing and developing the Corporate Technical and Customer Training programs. She now concentrates on Technical Sales Support from Portland, Oregon. Karen’s education includes a Certificate in Mechanical/Architectural design and a BA in Graphic Design and Communication. Karen is a member of the Society for Technical Communication as well as the International Parking Institute. Karen calls upon her multifaceted education and experience to gain valuable insight and perspective in order to offer solutions to the project at hand, often being in the position of customer’s advocate.
